Food critic and the other boss customers

A harsh ramen critic walks in during service. The store text says you win them over with aroma, umami, and toppings. I can name four boss customers from the achievement list. I cannot give you a point threshold, because Wild Dog has not published one.

A player guide says umami and aroma do not raise the normal menu price, but they are what you stack for these visits. Toppings affect the score. I am treating that as community testing, not as a formula card.

How a visit fails

The v0.1.57 notes say a boss who receives a tray that does not match the order leaves without a score. If the boss walks out early you can still close with the sign, and the business day ends, but that boss challenge does not count. Discussions include people who failed every critic, and a Japanese post about umami and aroma numbers that stopped rising. If your numbers freeze, update before you rebuild the bowl. That symptom has been reported as a bug.

The monk, carefully

Players have asked whether the monk wants a plant-based bowl, and whether a plant-based broth even exists. I do not have an official answer, so this page does not tell you to cook vegetarian for that fight. The wealthy customer is the same achievement Korean searchers call a rich guest. Trigger conditions beyond “complete the challenge” are not in the achievement text.
