NOT THE RIGHT RAMEN GAME? Japanese Ramen Simulator (also written japaneseramensimulator) is Wild Dog’s ramen-shop sim on Steam. On 18 October 2026 I rechecked the store API: Windows only, Early Access since 9 October 2026, up to six players, intro price $12.74. There is no browser build and no public demo.
What I found on the store page
I opened the Steam app page for 4968640 and the studio site the same day. The first sentence of the store description calls it a ramen shop management sim for up to six players. The loop they list is prep, cook, plate, serve, host, and clean. You can switch between first person and third person if the camera makes you dizzy.
The intro offer on the US store was $14.99 down to $12.74 (−15%). The store text says the offer ends 23 October. Japanese coverage says through 24 October, which is the same window in Japan time. I am not treating either clock as a permanent price.

The newest Steam news post I could read is the 16 October roadmap, after the 15 October patch v0.1.57.18549. The public branch build recorded by steamcmd is still 25978872. Sales passed 100,000 copies in the studio’s 16 October note. Review counts move daily; the review API on 18 October showed 450 reviews, 413 positive and 37 negative (91.78%).
Not every ramen game is this one
Search mixes this Early Access title with Ramen Simulator (3574020), Ramen Shop Simulator (3393720), and Garlic Ramen Shop Simulator (4525560). I put the app ids, prices, and platforms on one comparison page so a key purchase can be checked before checkout.

Is there a free demo or a browser version?
No. Steam marks the app as not free, and the store page has no demo button. It is a Windows client.
How many people can play Japanese Ramen Simulator?
Steam and the studio site say up to six players in online co-op. A gamebiz article wrote “10 (6 recommended)”; the store page is the number I use.
What does it cost?
On 18 October 2026 the US store showed $12.74, down from $14.99, during the introductory offer.
