Is it on PS5, Switch, Xbox, or phone?
No. Japanese Ramen Simulator runs on Windows through Steam. I checked the store platforms object on 18 October 2026: Windows true, Mac false, Linux false. There is no PS5, Switch, Xbox, iOS, Android, or VR edition in the store or the studio’s launch release.
What the store actually lists
| Device | Status on 2026-10-18 |
|---|---|
| Windows 10/11, 64-bit | Yes, Steam app 4968640 |
| Mac, Linux | No in the platforms object |
| PS5, Switch, Xbox | No store page and no announcement I could find |
| iPhone, Android | No |
| VR | No |
| Steam Deck | No official Deck rating (resolved category 0) |
| Controller | Partial Controller Support |
The PR Times release on 21 August 2026 names the platform as Steam (Windows 10/11). I am not going to guess that a console port is planned. Nothing on the studio page or the Steam news I read says that.
PC requirements from the store
| Minimum | Recommended | |
|---|---|---|
| OS | Windows 10 64-bit | Windows 11 64-bit |
| CPU | Intel Core i5 | Intel Core i7 |
| RAM | 8 GB | 16 GB |
| GPU | GTX 1060 or RX 580, 6 GB+ | GTX 1660 or R9 390X, 6 GB+ |
| API | DirectX 11 | DirectX 12 |
| Network | Broadband | Broadband |
| Disk | 10 GB | 10 GB |
Broadband is in the minimum spec because online co-op is part of the design, not an optional extra. Family Sharing and Steam Cloud are both enabled.
Comfort options I noticed in the categories
- Adjustable text size, camera comfort, and custom volume controls.
- Adjustable difficulty, playable without timed input, and save anytime.
- The store description says players who get sick in first person can switch to a third-person camera.
I do not have a Steam Deck play session, and I have not measured an FPS cap or multi-monitor layout. Those two search questions stay unanswered here until someone posts a sourced test.
Questions
Will it run on a Steam Deck?
Valve has not published a Deck compatibility rating for app 4968640. I am not going to invent one.
Does the controller work?
Steam lists Partial Controller Support. That is not the same as full gamepad play.
Is there cross-play?
There is only a Windows build, so there is no console cross-play to join.
